This is our 18″ Custom Damascus Steel Tomahawk Axe. We have forged the blade of this bearded axe with a length of the blade of about 8.5-inch and the length of the cutting side of the blade of about 5-inch. The blade is hand forged from highly beaten Damascus steel. There is an 18-inch long shaft attached to the axe head which is made from a type of hardwood. The handle is also handcrafted with beautiful art carved on the handle. The build of this tactical axe is very strong & durable. We also provide you with a high-quality leather sheath that will protect the edge of the blade when not in use.

This tactical axe can be used to cut down trees, chop firewood, and split logs but also can be used as a close-range weapon, a shovel, a pry bar, or a hammer to crack stones, and split woods. The axe can also be used for shaving and crafting wood by gripping it right behind the beard of the axe on the handle. This type of axe was used by the Vikings to dismantle an enemy shield & weapons and protect the hand when gripped on the handle behind the beard of the axe. You can also use it, in the same way, you would use a hook. The ability of this axe to be able to hold at the top of the handle behind the beard gives the user more control during detailed wood crafting. If you ever happen to come across a bear, wolf, or mountain lion in the wild you can use this axe as a defense weapon to protect yourself out in the wild.
