This khukuri is a very popular knife. We made this khukuri with a hand-forged 10.5-inch (26.67 cm) blade made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel. The handle is made from hard rosewood and is a full tang handle. There is a leather scabbard made from pinewood wrapped in water buffalo leather. The khukuri is great for heavy-duty work like clearing, chopping firewood, slaughtering animals, cutting meat or vegetables, etc. It is the most commonly used multipurpose tool in the fields and homes in Nepal.
