This machete is handmade by professional blacksmiths called Kaami who belong to the “Bishawakarma” caste. These people are metalsmiths who have been making different metal items for many generations. They are professional metal smiths who used traditional methods and hand tools to make strong and durable khukuris.

The 17″ Hand Forged Damascus Hunting Machete has a 17-inch long razor-sharp blade made from hand-beaten Damascus steel. As you know this process takes more time & effort than other kinds of steel. The result is a strong high wear-resistant Damascus steel that retains its sharpness longer than other steels.

The handle is about 5-inch in length and made from rosewood. We provide you with a beautiful pure leather sheath to keep your machete when you are not using it.
