22″ Custom Viking Ranger Tomahawk Axe | Wood Working Axe Hatchet | Rosewood Handle

This is our 22″ Custom Viking Ranger Tomahawk Axe. We have hand forged the blade of this bearded axe with a length of the blade about 5.5-inch and the length of the cutting side of the blade about 5-inch. The blade is hand forged from highly graded 5160 carbon steel. There is an 22-inch long shaft attached to the axe head which is made from rosewood which is a type of strong hardwood. Our blacksmith made the blade on this axe with a coarse finish that is suitable for rough use without damaging the aesthetics of the blade. We have leather wraps on the handle that will give you a comfortable grip during heavy use. The build of the axe is very strong & durable. We also provide you with a high-quality leather sheath that will protect the edge of the blade when not in use.

This axe can be used to cut down trees, chop firewood, and split logs with ease. The axe can also be used for shaving and crafting wood by gripping it right behind the beard of the axe on the handle. These type of bearded axes were used by the Vikings to dismantle an enemy shield & weapons and protect the hand when gripped on the handle behind the beard of the axe. You can also use it as a hook. The ability of this axe to be able to hold at the top of the handle behind the beard gives the user more control while using. If you ever come across a bear, wolf, or mountain lion in the wild you can use this axe as a defense weapon to protect yourself out in the wild.
