This unique design gives it the title of Sirupate Khukuri. Its blade is somewhat straighter and not as wide as compared to other types of khukuri. With a 20-inch blade and a 12” handle crafted to properly fit the gripping fingers, it’s a very versatile sword that can be used with both one or two hands. The blade has an upper spine thickness of 7 mm, a lower spine thickness of 1 mm, and a belly width of 5 cm. The polished finish of the blade not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also aids in minimizing friction during cutting.

The 12-inch handle is a long full-tang gripper handle made of rosewood. It features two rosewood pieces securely attached to the metal part with 4 metal rivets. The total weight of the knife is approximately 2000 gm with the scabbard, karda & chakhmakh. To protect this masterpiece kukri when storing & for easy carriage we provide a beautiful scabbard made from cottonwood which is wrapped water buffalo leather that serves as a durable and stylish shield for the blade.
