Chitlange khukuris (also called as khukri or kukri by people with non-Nepalese accent) has its origin in Chitlang village in central Nepal. This type of khukuri is commonly used by the villagers living here. It is an excellent everyday carry knife for these villagers. They use it in their farms for chopping firewoods, clearing bushes, vines, cutting bamboos and in their house for cutting meat & vegetables.
