10″ Custom D2 Steel Hunting Bowie with Micarta Handle

This 10″ Custom D2 Steel Hunting Bowie Knife is hand forged by skilled blacksmiths of the Ex Gurkha Khukuri House in Nepal. The 10-inch blade in this hunting bowie is hand-hammered from D2 steel. The handle is 6-inch long and made from black micarta. This knife comes with a pure leather sheath to protect the knife when not in use. The overall length of this knife is about 16-inch.

Unlike other high carbon steel, the D2 steel has high hardness capacity and good wear resistance. This knife also has good edge retention than other high-carbon steel knives. Just like the blade material the handle material is also different than other wooden handles. The micarta handle is lightweight, durable, and strong. There is an etching and texturization on the handle to give the user a better grip. The knife can cut through other softer steels. You can use this knife as a hunting knife too.

This 10″ Custom D2 Steel Hunting Bowie Knife has different regions designed for different purposes. The lower curved edge can be used as a sickle  whereas the upper edge on the bevel can be used for slicing and chopping. The tip of the knife is designed for peircingThere is a double edge on the tip of the knife well designed for stabbing. with a double edge. There is a place for the thumb finger near the upper portion handle or bolster for pushing the knife through a subject with deeper penetration. The grip on the handle is not smooth for comfortable grip and handling. The knife comes inside a pure leather sheath.
