This 10″ Historic WWI Bushcraft Military Khukuri(also called “Kukri” or “Khukri” in the west) is very famous among Military Knife collectors because of the fact that the very design of this Khukuri was carried/used by the Gurkhas in hand-to-hand battle in the Jungle of Burma during World War I. This Khukuri knife played a very significant role in creating the history of the Gurkhas.
The blade measures 10″ long while the handle is 5.5″ making the overall length of the Khukuri about 15.5 inches. The blade is made of Highly Graded 5160 Carbon Steel and is semi-polished. It is broad and more curved than other standard Khukuri designs therefore it is perfect while used due to its distinctive slope and curve. The blade is razor-sharp and is well oil quenched tempered blade. The Handle is flat full tang where the handle and blade are one single piece and the blade is visible all around the handle (See pictures). Two Rosewood pieces joint (Attached) strongly to the metal part of the handle with three metal rivets and an adjustable lanyard hole. Special Brown Sheath is made of genuine water buffalo leather.

It can be used to chop wood, firewood, bone, clean bushes, etc. It has varied uses from building, clearing, chopping firewood, digging, slaughtering animals for food, cutting meat and vegetables to skinning animals, and opening cans. It is used as a general farm and household tool. The khukuri can be used as a survival knife or camping knife for outdoor lovers. The widest part of the blade is 5.3cm and the spine is 8mm at the thickest part. The weight of the kukri blade is 700 grams. The blade, handle, scabbard, and even small utility knives called Karda and Chakmak are provided with a high-end finish.
