The blade is made from 5160 High Carbon Steel that undergoes a meticulous forging process. The steel is heated, beaten, folded, and beaten again, resulting in a strong & powerful blade capable of handling heavy-duty tasks such as cutting logs and hardwood.

The 12″ Military Survival Khukuri | Handmade Machete Kukri | EGKH has a 12-inch long Blade which has a spine thickness of approximately 10 mm. This Kukri boasts a sturdy build, with its spine tapering towards the end for enhanced control and precision. The blade’s semi-convex edge grinding further augments its cutting prowess, making it suitable for various applications such as cutting, chopping, butchering, piercing, kindling, etc.

The khukuri alone weighs 650 gm, with a total weight of 790 grams including scabbard, Karda & Chakhmakh. This moderate weight ensures it is a well-balanced and agile tool. Its full tang handle, crafted from rosewood, provides a secure grip for comfortable and confident handling.
