13″ Chitlange Superior Khukuri | Machete Kukri | EGKH knife is a top-notch handmade superior knife that is both durable and versatile. Skillful Nepalese blacksmiths, known as Kaami, handcraft it with traditional tools with their skills honed over generations. To create this 13″ Chitlange Superior Khukuri Knife, we used 5160 High Carbon Steel sourced from a truck leaf spring. This 5160 high-carbon steel was heat-treated with balanced tempering, resulting in a strong and long-lasting 13-inch blade.
The 13″ Chitlange Superior Khukuri | Machete Kukri | EGKH has a 6.5-inch handle crafted from rosewood and engraved with a diamond pattern. Its secure grip design includes a gripper blocker for confident handling during various tasks. The blade has an upper spine thickness of 7 mm, a lower spine thickness of 3 mm, and a belly width of 1.9 inch. The polished finish of the blade adds to its authentic appeal. The blade has a spine hardness of 22-25RC, belly hardness of 45-46RC, and edge hardness of 58-60RC.
This kukri knife’s total weight of 1050 gm, with the blade weighing just 700 grams, ensures it is a well-balanced and agile tool even during heavy use. The kukri comes with a scabbard that has two pockets on the back of it. The pockets hold a blunt steel called “Chakhmak” for sharpening the blade or for striking spark with a flint and a small sharp knife known as “Karda” used for skinning animals, opening cans, cutting paper, cutting or peeling small fruits & vegetables, etc. It is a truly unique knife to gift your beloved ones as well. This khukuri is a popular choice among outdoor enthusiasts and survivalists. When you purchase a khukuri from EGKH, you not only receive a tool but also the added assurance of the EGKH Warranty.
