13″ D-Guard Handle Fighting Bowie Knife | Predator Knife | EGKH is a top-notch handmade knife that is both durable and versatile. We affectionately named this knife the “Predator Knife” due to its striking resemblance to the formidable features of a predator’s knife, particularly in the design of the front part and guard. It is carefully crafted by skilled Nepalese blacksmiths known as Kaami at the EGKH factory in Nepal.

These traditional craftsmen have been forging blades for generations using time-honored tools. To create this Predator knife, we use 5160 High Carbon Steel sourced from a truck leaf spring. This 5160 high-carbon steel is heat-treated with balanced tempering, resulting in a strong and long-lasting 13-inch blade. The blade has a polished satin finish and is approximately 5 mm thick at the spine and 3 mm thick at the lower spine, tapering towards the end. With a 6.5-inch belly, this Bowie knife boasts a sharp and adaptable cutting edge.

This 13″ D-Guard Handle Fighting Bowie Knife | Predator Knife | EGKH has a 5-inch full tang and D-Guard Gripper handle, made from rosewood that offers a comfortable grip for reliable handling. The knife comes with a scabbard made of pinewood and wrapped water buffalo leather which adds both durability and style. The blade boasts a sturdy D-Guard Blocker, providing protection and versatility for camping or allowing the knife to even function as a harpoon when required. The Predator Knife has a handle with a circumference measuring 5 inches, providing an ergonomic grip. The blade is ideal for outdoor tasks too. Its spine hardness ranges from 22-25 RC, while the belly hardness stands at 45-46 RC and the edge hardness at an impressive 58-60 RC. This Knife is versatile, excelling in cutting, chopping, butchering, and piercing tasks.
