13″ Tactical Hunting Sirupate Survival Khukuri | Handmade Full Tang Kukri

This is 13″ Tactical Hunting Sirupate Survival Khukuri | Handmade Full Tang Kukri by Ex Gurkha Khukuri House. The name “Sirupate’” is derived from the word “Siru” which is a species of grass that has very narrow and sharp leaves. Unlike other types of khukuris the blade of the Sirupate khukuri is very narrow that provides for razor-sharp cutting. The blade is less bent at the spine and it is not as wide as other knives. This kind of blade is very useful for light work, nowadays Gurkhas from the British Army also use a similar kind of light blade for jungle training. 

The blade on this 13″ Tactical Hunting Sirupate Survival Khukuri is handmade from highly graded 5160 carbon steel and is polished. The blade is subjected to a balanced oil-quenching temper making it very strong. The handle is a full tang made from rosewood with an ergonomically designed panjawal grip to allow tight control over the blade. The sheath is made of water buffalo leather.

This blade can be effectively used for chopping wood, cutting meat, clearing bushes, etc. It is very comfortable to use during outdoor adventures like hunting and camping.
