15″ Limbuwan Traditional Khukuri Knife | Hand Forged Kukri | EGKH is a long-blade knife from Nepal. It is made by skilled blacksmiths who have been making blades for a long time. They use traditional tools to make each knife by hand. The blade of the 15″ Limbuwan Traditional Khukuri Knife is made of strong 5160 High Carbon Steel. The whole knife is 20.5 inches long. The blade is polished and has a handle that is 5.5 inch long and made of rosewood. The handle is an extremely durable & comfortable design. The engravings of small diamond-shaped patterns on the handle add to the overall beauty of the khukuri.

The scabbard, which holds the knife, is made of wood covered in water buffalo leather. The blade is very lightweight weighing just 700 gm. The total weight of the khukuri along with the scabbard and the Karda & Chakhmakh is just under a kg weighing 959 gm. The relatively light weight of this khukuri as compared to other similarly sized khukuri makes it a very handy khukuri despite its large blade size. Also, one should not be fooled by its weight thinking it would not pack the punch of heavier kukris for cutting, chopping, or slicing. The 15 inch large blade size with a razor sharp edge when swung packs enough power for all clean cutting.
