We made this 20” Balanced Brush Cutter Thai Machete based on the traditional design from Thailand where these types of blades originate. We forged the 20 inch long blade with 5160 High Carbon Steel made from truck leaf springs. The long blade we made for this machete makes it amazingly versatile for use in various types of works like cutting, chopping & clearing. We made the blade wide with a curved cutting edge making the blade an excellent brush-cutter. The satin finish we gave on the blade which makes it look very beautiful too.
We created the handle of this 20 inch Balanced Brush Cutter Thai Machete 8 inches long. This provides enough space to hold it by both hands when needed. We carved beautiful patterns on the handle which is made from steel & rosewood. The patterns not only make the machete look beautiful but also provide better grip to the palms during use.
The steel reinforced guard we created at the top of the handle provides extra protection to the hands during heavy use preventing them from slipping towards the balde.. Despite the machete having an overall length of around 28 inches it weighs just around 1300 grams which is very lightweight considering its size. This makes the machete very easily handleable by one hand.
We provide a beautifully made wooden scabbard with this 20” Balanced Brush Cutter Thai Machete for easy carry & storage. The scabbard is wrapped in water-buffalo leather using traditional Nepalese adhesive called laha.
