One of the first words that comes to mind when talking about a curved sword is the word “scimitar”. It generally represent swords whose blade is bent backwards or curved outwards. These swords are associated with the West Asian & North African culture. Many people also know Scimitar sword as an Islamic sword. This is because the swords used by the soldiers of the then Islamic states during the  starting years of Islamic states were also outward-curved swords.

As with our other swords & knives, we  did a thorough research about Scimitar swords  & collected all the necessary facts. This helped us to make this sword resemble as closely as possible to the ones used by the soldiers of Islamic states back in time.

The blade of this 26″ Hand Forged Carbon Steel Blade Scimitar Sword is made from leaf spring made of 5160 high carbon steel. The 5160 carbon steel provides extra strength as well as flexibility for the blade to flex during heavy use. The blade has a spine of 6 mm and comes with a super sharp edge that can cut through hard wood or bones with ease.

The handle of this sword is 10″ long beautifully crafted from rosewood with a hidden tang. The bolster at the top of the handle and pommel at the bottom of the handle are made from steel making them super strong. The pommel can also be used as hammer to hack & break things.

We provide a beautifully hand-made scabbard with the sword for you to carry your sword. The scabbard has a soldier strap for you to easily carry the sword on your back. The scabbard also comes with a belt. This allows you to carry the sword on your belt loop too.
