Before factories, swords were made like this: fire, hammer, water, skill. This 44.5″ longsword is hand-hammered by EGKH’s very skilled blacksmiths in Dharan from highly graded carbon steel.We use the traditional water-tempering method — the blade is heated and quenched in water by eye, not computer. That gives you a razor-hard cutting edge with a tough, flexible core. The kind of blade that survives binding in the HEMA salle or cutting tatami.
Full tang construction, proper distal taper, and a point of balance ∼4-5″ from the guard. It moves like a real sword because it is a real sword.
For collectors, HEMA practitioners, and anyone who wants to feel what historical steel was actually like.
