6″ Super Mini Jungle Khukuri Blade | Authentic Hand Forged Kukri

This 6″ Super Mini Jungle Khukuri | Authentic Real Working Full Tang Kukri is smaller than Mini Jungle khukuri which has around 8-inch blades and Standard Jungle khukuri which has around 10-inch blades. Hence we named this khukuri Super Mini Jungle for khukuri for having a blade size of 6-inch. We also have an identical variation for this khukuri that has a 5-inch handle. This khukuri’s (also called kukri or khukri by many people outside Nepal) blade is made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel. The full tang handle is about 4-inch in length and is made from rosewood. The scabbard is made from pinewood wrapped in water buffalo leather.

The blade comes with two pockets on the scabbard which hold a blunt steel called “chakmak” for sharpening the blade or for lighting spark with a flint and a little knife known as “karda” used for skinning, cutting paper, and opening letters. The notch (kaura or kaudi) on the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as a conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a place for catching and neutralizing an enemy blade.
