This is 15″ Custom Bushcraft Bowie Machete Knife | Heavy Duty Farmer’s Knife by Ex Gurkha Khukuri House. It has a 15-inch sharpened blade made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel. The blade has a raw finish except on the edge. We have done a balanced oil quenching on the blade making the blade very strong. There are several notches on the spine of the blade that makes the bottom part of the spine of the blade able to be used like a hacksaw. They can also be used to scale fish. The tip has a dual edge which is effective for stabbing, slashing, and piercing through an object. Overall the blade is an excellent tool for cutting meat & bones, chopping wood, clearing bushes & vines, etc. The knife provides full control to the user to aid in precise necessary cuts and good penetration.

The full tang handle on this knife is 5.5 inches in length and is made from hard rosewood. Two pieces of rosewood are strongly riveted to the metal of the blade where the blade can be seen all around the outside edge of the handle. This type of handle is excellent for heavy-duty work as the impact of the blade is evenly distributed throughout the blade and to the user’s hand respectively. The bolster of the knife is extended beautifully and it not only looks good but also acts as a protective guard. The guard protects the hands of the user from the sharp edge of the blade and provides for free hand movements without worrying about any further injuries. Also, the pommel of the knife has a beautiful design shaped like an eagle’s head that can be used for hammering small surfaces.

We provide a pure leather sheath for the knife that can be used to keep the knife when you are not using it and it protects the edges of the knife from being damaged while not in use.
